Do you want a website for your club and don't know how, or are confused by all the available options? If your answer is YES then The Trumpet can help. The Trumpet allows your club to display anything quickly, easily and, best of all, ABSOLUTELY FREE.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. We'll give you a username and password and your own private web space. Then you can start adding whatever you like and with a few clicks of the mouse it will be out there - for the whole world to see.
What can I add?
The sky's the limit. Upload pictures, stories, results, league tables or whatever you want. Existing website, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents can be transferred to The Trumpet easily. Alternatively, if you want to link from The Trumpet directly to an existing club website this is simple to do.
What is The Trumpet?
The Trumpet is a club host and a magazine. It's like a newspaper on the web. Only the Editor has access to the news area. The only way to get articles published outside of your own web space and in the magazine’s pages is through the Editor. The Editor can gain access to any club’s web space and, of course, reserves the right to remove offensive material. Normally the Editor will not interfere.
Is it really easy?
Using the Trumpet's facilities is straightforward enough. It may require perseverance on your part until you get used to it. We can sometimes provide face to face training if you really need it. Trumpet staff can be contacted by email and can answer any question or solve any problem quickly and courteously. But don't worry - it's highly unlikely to happen.
